Seven people- Peter, Mona, Richard, Floyd, Charlie, Ben and Shankar live on different floors in a 7 storey building. The ground floor is considered as 1st floor and 1st floor as second floor and so on. They went for an exhibition on different days of the week beginning from Monday to Sunday (not necessarily in order). Shankar lives on 5th floor. Richard went on Sunday. Ben’s floor is immediately above the person who went for exhibition on Thursday. The person who went on Wednesday lives on 3rd floor. The person who went on Tuesday lives 3 floors above the person who went on Monday. The one who went on Tuesday doesn’t stay on top floor. Ben doesn’t live on top floor. Peter lives on an odd numbered floor but not on 1st floor and he goes for exhibition immediately after the day on which Shankar went. Richard and Floyd live on an even numbered floor. Mona’s floor is not adjacent to Richard’s floor. Mona didn’t go on Thursday for exhibition. Floyd goes before Charlie. If Floyd lives on 6th floor then Charlie lives on top floor.
Eight persons P, Q, R, S, T, U, V and W are sitting around a circular table. Each of them has a mobile phone of a different company, viz. Samsung, Lava, Nokia, Micromax, Panasonic, Motorola, Spice and HTC but not necessarily in same order. Four of them are not facing centre.
Note: Two persons sitting in the same direction means that either they are facing the centre or they are facing away from the centre. Two persons sitting in the opposite direction means that one is facing the centre and the other is facing away from the centre.
The one who has Panasonic mobile is on the immediate left of S. S is third to right of W. V is four places away from U. Neither U nor V is an immediate neighbor of S. R has Nokia mobile and sits exactly between P and U. R is to the right of both P and U. T is third to left of P, who has HTC. P sits third to the left of the one who has Panasonic. The one who has Samsung sits second to the right of S. P faces the centre. The one having Micromax phone sits to the immediate right of Q, who doesn’t have Panasonic phone. V and R face in same direction. The one having Lava phone doesn’t sit opposite to Q or W. W doesn’t have Motorola phone. If either Q or S has Motorola phone then W must face away from the centre.
Blue boxs – Face inside to circle
Red boxs – Face out side from centre
